DJ Control mp3 is an entry level, USB powered, DJ MIDI Controller with no soundcard
That means you have to buy a decent 2 channel sound card for cueing or aSPLIT Cable
I hated it mostly for the feeling of the rubber buttons, they need a hard-steady push otherwise you missed, but for the actual software as well, Virtual DJ 3.
(I actually strill DJ on Virtual DJ 7, but the earlier versions was very dissapointing.)
Back to the controller now, the layout is not very inspiring to me, there are 2 little volume faders, 1 crossfader, 2 small jog wheels, 3 band eq knobs and 2 pitch rotary encoders!!
I understand they couldn't fit more faders in such a small controller but the rotaries aren't my best choise.
There are 3 buttons, that cycle through cue - fx and loop function, for each deck.
The fx of Virtual DJ are not the best still in the 7th version of the software so you can imagine..
Anyway the controller has a quite good & durable build quality, even it's whole plastic. As I said the rubber style buttons were not the best and there is only a usb connection for PC. In the box there was a plastic, hard to unclip, cover and a band so you can use it as a purse(!)
